The Toyota Progres is a mid size sedan which is sold in Japan. The engine which Toyota Progres uses is an inline, 6 cylinder, and 3.0L engine.
The 2,500 cc car is available in both, 2WD and 4WD models. The 3,000 cc version is only available in 2WD. The price for the 2,500 cc 2WD model is about $37,500, while it is $41,000 for the 4WD model. If you want the 3,000 cc version, it will cost about $43,000. The Progres comes in a wide range of colors, like pearl, silver metallic, grey metallic, light green metallic, light blue metallic, and bold red.
The Progres has a 24 valve, DOHC engine, with VVT-i technology. This engine is called the 2JZ-GE version. It produces an output of about 230 HP @ 6000 RPM. It uses SEFI fuel injection, and has four valves per cylinder.
The Progres could be said as the forerunner of Altezza. It was launched one and a half years earlier than the latter, but unlike the Altezza, is sold only in Japan.
