The latest model of the Toyota Aventis is bigger and better than ever before. It has undergone some radical changes from the 2003 edition, making it one of the hottest new cars. It is available in saloon, hatchback, and Tourer models.
Customers can now choose from a variety of engine types. You have the option of buying a 129bhp 1.8 liter engine, 147bhp 2.0 liter engine, or a 161bhp 2.4 liter version. There is also a 2.0 liter diesel engine model, just for variety. The powerful engine makes motorway cruising a relaxed affair. The Aventis hits 60mph in 11.2 seconds and has a top speed of 121mph.
Safety is definitely top-class with this car, as there are no less than nine airbags. There is s driver’s knee airbag and anti lock braking system as well. All these features give the car a five star Euro NCAP crash test rating.
The Aventis’s dash resembles that of the smaller Corolla. The instrument panel is easy-to-use. The steering wheel adjusts for both rake and reach, adding to the comfort levels. The space inside both the saloon and hatch is ample for five people. Equipment is generously provided, with a hi-fi CD player and air conditioning. In the T3-S, T4 and T-Spirit versions (Tourers), satellite navigation is also provided. All the cabin’s plastics appear trim and rattle free.
The 1.8 liter hatchback model is priced at £8,500. For the 2.0 liter version, you will have to shell out £500 more. If you want a beautiful, mid-range car, the Aventis is just right for you.
