The Toyota Dyna is a light truck meant for commercial use. The new Dyna features a powerful, yet clean engine, rugged frame and user-friendly deck. It will fulfill your requirements of an everyday workhorse, since it is tough and easy to operate.
The Dyna does not get any prizes for great beauty. But the Dyna is aimed at quite a specialized sector of the market. As a dropside truck, it is ideally suited to the movement of large, heavy objects that would be impractical to load into any other vehicle.
The Dyna range consists of three vehicles, the 3-tonne GVW 300, and two 3.5-tonne GVW 350s. The two 3.5 tonne versions differ only in the size of wheelbases. The engine range is comprised of an 88bhp and a 102bhp, 2.5-litre intercooled turbo diesel, D-4D engine. The D-4D engines produce respectable fuel economies. Sensible use of the 5-speed gearbox will keep your diesel bills down. In addition, the Dyna range produces low emissions, complying with the stringent Euro-IV norms. To reduce costs, you can get the Dyna serviced at longer service intervals (up to 20,000 miles).
ABS and speed sensitive power steering make the Dyna a safe vehicle. There is also a fully adjustable steering column, driver’s airbag, sliding driver’s seat, and three-point pretensioned seatbelts for driver and passenger. The Dyna has a strong cabin structure and side impact protection beams, too. It is capable of carrying a payload of 1,300kg or 1,500kg, depending on the model. It is ideal for builders who need fast access to bulky loads.
