The Nissan Cefiro is an intermediate-size automobile range sold in Japan and other countries. It was introduced initially as a 4 door sedan; however a wagon was later produced. A large proportion was equipped with automatic transmissions.
The Nissan Cefiro is a big car with all of the equipment you’d expect in this price range. If you’re going to buy a used Cefiro, it’s advisable to look at the 3.0 liter V6. You will get plenty of luxury amenities like leather, cruise control, a 10-CD auto-changer and electric seats. These are all standard with the model. Most of the equipment is available in the 2.0-litre model, but with a price difference so small between the two models, it’s worth having the larger engine. Both models come with automatic gearboxes only.
The Cefiro’s interior quality is exceptional. Black and dark grey surfaces are all around the occupants. The 2003 model has a livelier interior, and you should consider swapping the interiors if you have an older model.
The 3.0-litre 190bhp flagship versions make 0-96km/h in less than 10 seconds and easily tops 220km/h, the 2.0-litre counterpart isn’t much behind either. Wind noise is virtually absent, even at high speeds. The steering is pleasingly precise and there’s plenty of front-end grip. The vehicle has good stability.
The Cefiro is a reliable, comfortable and well-built car. It may not be the most exciting car around, but it will provide reasonable luxury motoring. Nissan also manufactures some interesting performance accessories for the Cefiro.
