Interior features are vastly improved over previous Mustangs. Switches and handles feel substantial. Retro styling is there in the form of a large round speedometer, dual-hooded dash and a cool steering wheel with a small round airbag hub. The color accent is striking, with red leather seats, red door panel inserts and red floor mats set against a dark interior.
There is plenty of power to move the Mustang to illegal speeds very quickly. The Mustang turns crisply and easily into corners with a composed attitude. Ford has done a fine job with in terms of performance, handling, ride dynamics and basic ergonomics. If you're looking for an affordable coupe or convertible that's fast and comfortable enough to drive every day, the Mustang is perfect for you.
