If you are not a do it yourself type of person and you’d rather pay to have your car worked on there are a few auto body shops I particularly go to. I have been burnt by the mom and pop auto body shops that promise quality work for a cheaper price. Be warned that when it comes to servicing a car DO NOT take the cheap road home, you will end up paying twice maybe three times a much to have it done correctly the second time. Recently I had my car painted from a midnight black to a karma blue and the body shop I chose to go to was Maaco. Maaco does all types of bodywork on cars that have been in accidents, which is their specialty. However you can stop in to get an oil change or new snow tires, and have your car worked on carefully.
Maaco has a trusted name all around the United States. They have a location conveniently in almost every major city or big town to service all needs. The job was one that was done in a timely fashion, efficient and I got what I paid for, in a good way. Midas has also worked on my car. It was actually seven months ago. I needed a new fuel injection pump and I shopped around at first to compare prices and said the hell with it I’m going to go with a name I trust so I chose Midas. Midas also offers towing, brake jobs, inspections, mufflers, tune-ups you name it and the work is excellent. The reason I chose these two establishments to work on my car is because, the names are known and trusted, but from a personal view, I am appreciated as a customer and they value my business.
